After a 30 year business career, Andy changed careers based upon his faith and in combination with the skills he acquired in sales and marketing management. He is a convert to the Catholic faith having entered the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church after his children were born.  Although his bachelor’s degree is in economics, he later went back to graduate school to earn a master’s degree in religious studies. For the past 18 years, Andy has held various management positions in Catholic fundraising in the areas of planned giving and annual giving. He has also participated in consulting engagements in the bishop’s annual appeal, support of college seminaries and museums. He currently is a trustee of his parish and a board member of the bishop’s pastoral planning council. He is an active member of the Planned Giving Group of Connecticut, as well as both the national and local chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals. As a consultant to the PUHCF he serves in the role of Charitable Gift Counselor to help support fundraising for Santa Croce by assisting benefactors in their planning.
